Donate: Make a tax-deductible donation to Workers Defense Project by clicking here. One of the best ways to help build a more just and sustainable world for all workers is to support WDP. You can make a one-time donation or become a monthly sustainer. This support helps us achieve our mission, ensuring that we have the resources to provide quality services and programs to thousands of economically disadvantaged workers. Sustainer donations make a real impact on the lives of working families:
$5/month Pays for an advertisement on a public bus to inform hundreds of low-wage workers about their rights.
$10/month Pays the monthly stipend of a Workers’ Rights Advocate who works individually with a low-income worker to recover his/her unpaid wages.
$20/month Pays for three workers to take our 10-week Leadership Course to develop their skills in civic engagement, organizing, public speaking and advocacy.
$50/month Pays for over 1,200 “Know Your Rights” booklets which teach low-wage workers about their rights in the workplace and how to have proper documentation to defend those rights.
$100/month Pays for an entire 6-week ESL course for 10 immigrant workers, including materials, instructor, and graduation diplomas.
