Application for Board Member Position

Volunteer: Volunteering with WDP is a rewarding experience. Not only will you help workers and their families defend their workers rights, but you will also help build a more racially and economically just society. To receive information about our next orientation fill out the form below.

Donate: Make a tax-deductible donation to Workers Defense Project by clicking here. One of the best ways to help build a more just and sustainable world for all workers is to support WDP. You can make a one-time donation or become a monthly sustainer. This support helps us achieve our mission, ensuring that we have the resources to provide quality services and programs to thousands of economically disadvantaged workers. Sustainer donations make a real impact on the lives of working families:

$5/month Pays an advertisement on a public bus to inform hundreds of low-wage workers about their rights.
$10/month Pays the monthly stipend of a Workers Rights Advocate who works individually with a low-income worker to recover his/her unpaid wages.
$20/month Pays for ten workers to take our 10-week Leadership Course to develop their skills in civic engagement, organizing, public speaking, and advocacy.
$50/month Pays for over 1,200 “Know Your Rights” booklets which helps low-wage workers’ know their rights and have proper documentation to defend their rights.
$100/month Pays for a whole six-week ESL course for 15 immigrant workers, including materials, instructor, and graduation diplomas.
